About St Aloysius Howrah

Aloysius was the eldest son of Marquis Ferdinand of Gonzaga, Duke of Mantua, Prince of the Holy Roman empire and as such was expected to become a great statesman and soldier. Though he could live in luxury, pomp and show; his thoughts, at the age of eight were already absorbed in spiritual matters.

HISTORY of St Aloysius Howrah

In 1974, the school was affiliated to the council of Indian School Certificate Examination – New Delhi, under the able guidance of Fr Michael Bhaju and the school sent its 1st batch of students for the ICSE Examination in 1976. In 1992 due to unavoidable circumstances the Orphanage & the Boarding was shifted to Kharagpur.t.

Our Vision & Mission

Giving the very best to every child and giving importance to their all round development” is our common objective

Our message to the education system

Everyone is born with the urge to create. It is part of our programme of life. Whether we are parents trying to calm down a crying baby or Teachers trying to encourage learning by raising a student’s curio city. We all of us have dreams. We work to make the dreams come true.
